Carrie G. Lanford
Carrie Mae Grady Lanford, 96, formerly of Cross Anchor went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at Brookstone Terrace.
She was born in Union County, January 5, 1925, to the late Clarence Shannon and Lillie Mae Bobo Grady and was the widow of Paul W. Lanford Jr. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Enro Shirt Company. Mrs. Lanford was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Cross Anchor Shrine Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Ballard (Eddie) of Woodruff and Paula Cain (Greg) of Birmingham, Alabama; one son, Paul W. Lanford III (Wanda) of Moore; 3 grandchildren, Melissa Ballard (Rondrick Goodman), Brandy Cudd and Bradley Paul Lanford (Danielle); 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler Goodman, Kaitlyn Cudd, Victoria Cudd and Gage Cain; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Serenitee Shropshire, Graydin Cain, Dayton Shropshire and Lialahh Faye Rios. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Tina Ballard and Shaun Cain.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff by Rev. Danny Monroe. Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 154 Burnt Factory Road, Enoree, S.C. 29335.
The family is at their respective homes.
