Charles R. Tarver
DUNCAN- Charles Ray Tarver, 73, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center.
He was born February 28, 1948, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Ray Bridgforth Tarver and Martha Latimer Tarver.
Surviving is his wife, Lory Ammons Tarver of the home; three daughters, Kendell (Ronnie) Anderson of Cowpens, Kelly Benner of Wilmington, North Carolina and Jennifer (Kevin) Padgett of Seneca; one son, Jonathan (Kaitlyn) Tarver of Pendleton; one sister, Kay Hitt of Hernando, Mississippi; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 17, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens by Rev. Zachary Williams.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
