Charles Kenneth Taylor
PAULINE- Charles Kenneth Taylor, 83, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June 21, 2024, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 6, 1941, in Piedmont, S.C. to the late William Terrel Taylor and Mary Davenport Taylor. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church where he was Deacon and was a retired machinist and industrial mechanic. Mr. Taylor was a U.S. Army Veteran serving as a helicopter mechanic and a sharpshooter.
Surviving is his wife, Vanna Brown Taylor of the home; two sons, Michael Wayne Taylor of Fairforest and Randal Taylor (Ruby) of Pauline; 7 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Debbie, Jeffrey, Chris, Brandon, Gregory and Leah; 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his fur baby, Kody.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Friendship Baptist Church in Pauline at 5:00 p.m. by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Friendship Baptist Church, 830 Friendship Road, Pauline, S.C. 29374.
The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Randal and Ruby Taylor, 216 Boulder Rock Trail, Pauline.
