Connie Harlow Frye

Connie Harlow Frye, 83, of 620 Blackstock Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Restoration Senior Living at Westgate with her children by her side.

  She was born October 2, 1942, in Middletown, Ohio to Dutchie Melton Murphy of Middletown and the late Robert Murphy.  Mrs. Frye was the widow of John David Frye and was first married to the late Johnny Harlow.  She was a retired school teacher and real estate agent and was a member of First Baptist Church, North Spartanburg.  Connie was a lifelong lover and follower of Jesus and loved nothing more than teaching and encouraging others in their faith.

  Surviving is her son, Scott Harlow (Heather) of Roswell, Georgia; two daughters, Lisa Roberts (Richie) of Spartanburg and Lori Lizewski (John) of Serverna Park, Maryland; one brother, Bob Murphy (Dalee) of Franklin, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Katie, Abigail, Casey and Cooper; 8 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, North Spartanburg, 8740 Asheville Highway, Spartanburg officiated by Dr. Mike Hamlet and Pastor Keith Cothran.  Interment will immediately follow the service in the church cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  The family is at their respective homes.
