Curtis A. Godfrey
Curtis Aaron Godfrey, 69, of 7955 Prince Street, Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home.
He was born August 11, 1952 in Spartanburg County to the late Paul Godfrey Sr. and Zelzie Crowe Godfrey. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee with Ellason Tree Service.
Surviving are one son, Chris (Tina Durham) Godfrey of Simpsonville; 7 brothers, Paul Godfrey Jr. of Enoree, Bobby Godfrey of Duncan, Abrain Godfrey of Enoree, Eddie Godfrey of Spartanburg, Steve Godfrey of Georgia, Randy Godfrey of Pauline and Keith Godfrey of Woodruff; 3 grandchildren, Kera Fenley, Krista Godfrey and Kaylee Godfrey; 2 great-grandchildren, Addison Fenley and Elias Fenley.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.
A cremation will immediately follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
The family is at their respective homes.
