Dallas L. Hudson
WOODRUFF- Dallas Lee Hudson,67, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home.
He was a native of Fountain Inn and was the son of Ed “Pop” Hudson of Gray Court and the late Bobby Lois Hudson. He was one of four siblings: Geraldine Wilson (deceased), Louise Hudson Peace and Eddie Joe Hudson.
Dallas loved go-cart and car racing. He enjoyed watching football, cutting grass and welding. He was a hardworking man, working nearly all of his life until he got sick.
He had been battling health problems for the past 5 years, but he is no longer suffering and in the arms of Jesus. We find comfort in Timothy 2 4:7, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
Dallas was a loving husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Susan Burdette Hudson of the home; two daughters, Amanda Hudson (Tony Jarrett) of Spartanburg and Hannah Stowell (Shane Stowell) of Lyman; one son, Steven Hudson (Heather Hudson) of Woodruff; 8 grandchildren, Devin, Austin, Andrew, Mila, Rudolf, August, Vada and Ryker.
