Deborah Morgan
WOODRUFF- Deborah Grubbs Wood Morgan,69, of 331 Elijah Simmons Road went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 24, 1956, in Spartanburg County to the late Marvin Eugene Grubbs and Alpha Hunter Grubbs and was the widow of Donald Benny Morgan. She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church and was a Licensed Practical Nurse with Southpointe Health Care and Rehabilitation, Greenville.
Surviving is one daughter, Alicia Greene (William “Bill”) of Springfield, Tennessee; one son, Justin Wood of Woodruff; two sisters, Cheryl Ballard (Terry) of Woodruff and Crystal Ratliff (Donald) of Boiling Springs; two brothers, Stanley “Ralph” Grubbs of Woodruff and Milton Grubbs of Easley; 3 grandchildren, Haskel Sexton, Andrew Sexton (Sarah) and Nolan Wood; one great-granddaughter, Leilani Sexton. She was predeceased by two brothers, Aubrey Grubbs and Dale Grubbs.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev. Jonathan Knight. Interment will follow at Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.
