Diane Casey

ENOREE- Broadus Diane Casey, 74, of 461 Frontier Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 7, 2024, at her home.

  She was born July 27, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Clarence Hyman and Mary Reeves Chapman.  She was member of Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired dispatcher with Landstar.

  Surviving is her husband, Mike Casey of the home; daughters, Candi Smith of Union and Micah Casey of Florida; son, Trampis Casey (Cate) of Union; two bonus daughters, Lisa Gary of Campobello and Jewell Rivera (Luis) of Columbia; one brother, Sam Hyman of Enoree; one grandson, Austin Michael “Buckshot” Smith (Kayla) of Texas; great-grandson, Kyzer Smith of Texas; nieces, Nikki Goggins, Jennifer Hyman, Samantha Hyman, Waynetta Hyman, Ashley Hyman and Amber Williams; nephews, Roy Lewis and Herman Hyman, Brandon Casey and Jared Casey.  Diane is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Eddie and Angela Lawson Casey.  She loved many kids over the years and took in many as she claimed as her babies.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Brittany Candida Sanders and two brothers, Ricky Hyman and Frankie Hyman.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Enoree First Freewill Baptist Church by Rev. Monte Guffey.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  The family is at the residence.
