Donald "Don" Gary Patterson "Bug"

WOODRUFF- Donald Gary Patterson,69, of 845 Edwin Lanford Road went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

  He was born June 6, 1955, in Spartanburg County to the late Ernest Willard Patterson and Margaret Wilson Patterson.  He was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and was retired as facility manager with First Baptist Church Spartanburg and he had formerly worked at Cryovac-Sealed Air.

  Surviving is his wife Trudy Brown Patterson of the home; two daughters, Ann Marie Roberts of Spartanburg and Melissa Margaret Patterson (Lori) of Anderson; two brothers, Jerry Patterson (Juanita) of Woodruff and Larry Patterson (Sandra) of Woodruff; two grandchildren, Ethan Roberts (Hannah) and Isabella Roberts; one great-grandson, Jerry Douglas Roberts.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God officiated by Rev. Jonathan Knight and Rev. James Shealy.  Entombment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville.  A committal service will be held in the mausoleum chapel prior to entombment.

  Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
