WOODRUFF- Eddie Phillip Ballard, 74, of 1036 Old Spartanburg Highway went home to be with the Lord, Friday, June14, 2024 at his home.

  He was born November 18, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Tom and Elmer Richards Ballard.  He was a retired employee with Cryovac Sealed Air and was a member of Cavins Baptist Church.

  Surviving is his wife, Shirley Lanford Ballard of the home; one daughter, Melissa Ann Ballard (Rondrick Goodman) of Woodruff; two sisters, Nancy Ballard Taylor of Woodruff and Shirley Ballard Waddell of Woodruff; two brothers, Terry Ballard of Woodruff and Ricky Ballard of Woodruff; one grandson, Tyler Goodman (Kinsey).  He was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Ballard and a brother, Sammy Ballard.

  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 17, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.

  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C, 29303.

  The family is at the residence.
