WOODRUFF- Edna Waddell Edwards,84, formerly of Parsons Road, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 25, 2025, at White Oak at North Grove.

  She was born March 10, 1941, in Spartanburg County to the late Clyde Henry Waddell and Gladys Scott Waddell and was the widow of Larry Edwards and was formerly married to the late Billy Grubbs.  She was a member of Woodruff Road Worship Center and was self-employed.

  Surviving is one daughter, Darlene Yown (Jason) of Charleston, S.C.; one son, Richie Grubbs (Melissa) of Conway, S.C.; one granddaughter, Brittany Beckham; one great-great-grandchild, Memphis Davis.  She was predeceased by a son, Donnie Grubbs and a brother, Clyde Waddell Jr.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel, officiated by Rev. Bill Yown.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, 29303
