Elizabeth Justice Stokes

WOODRUFF- Elizabeth Ann Justice Stokes, 41, of 452 East Georgia Street went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born March 25, 1982, in Spartanburg County and was a graduate of Woodruff High School and Clemson University.  Elizabeth was a former Certified Public Accountant having worked with Kement Corp. as a systems administrator, Guardian Building Products and as an Accounting Analyst with BSM Medical. 

  Elizabeth fought Psoriatic Psoriasis for 22 years.  She always rescued or adopted her pets and loved her dogs, Rocky, who is a rescue and Bella, adopted from the Humane Society.

  Surviving is her husband, Glenn Stokes of the home; mother, Anita Justice of Woodruff; one sister, Valerie Hull (Ed) of Hillcrest; one brother, Walter Keppell (Tammy) of Union; stepfather, Jerry Burton of Woodruff; two brothers-in-law, Sam Howard (Mandy) of Roebuck and James Cannady of Michigan; uncles, Kenneth Justice, Bill, Warren; aunts, Almira, and Adela; nieces, Amelia, Julia and Zelnea.  She was predeceased by her father, William Henry Justice and a brother, Roy Justice.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andrew Shull.

  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, S.C. 29607.
