Eva Armenda “RB” Vinson
Eva “RB” Armenda Vinson, a woman known for her strength, love, and unmistakable spirit, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, surrounded by the legacy of a life well lived.
She was born February 20, 1957, Eva embraced each day as a blessing and touched the lives of all who knew her.
Eva was a force to reckon with-strong willed, outspoken, and fiercely independent. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly, especially when it came to her family, who meant everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Henry Minor, her mother, Annie Sue Nelson Minor; her sisters, Peggy Parkins and Nancy Wilburn; her brother, Wayne Minor; her beloved daughter, Tera Vinson Chapman; and her cherished dog, Gizzy.
Eva leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts: her devoted husband, Charlie Robert Vinson; her daughter, Brittany Vinson Burton (Michael); her granddaughter, Mercedes Chapman (Kaleb); her grandsons, Zachary Chapman, Xander Chapman, and Jason Burton; and her great-grandson, Waylon Locklair; a bonus daughter, Cassie Brown and two bonus grandchildren, Aniyah Brown and Cailen Brown. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her strength, love and unforgettable spirit will live on through all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell. A cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. prior to the service.
The family is at their respective homes.
