Fannie B. Belcher
MOORE- Fannie Hazel Bishop Belcher, 94, of 1013 Pearson Town Road passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff.
She was born April 23, 1928, in Spartanburg County to the late George and Fannie Ray Bishop and was the widow of Dean Belcher but first married to the late Jessie Morgan. She was the oldest member of Green Pond Baptist Church where she was the leader of the Joyful Hearts, helped with the WMU and was active in the choir. Mrs. Belcher enjoyed entertaining nursing home and church groups with her "Minnie Pearl" impersonations. She was a retired employee with Union Carbide in Simpsonville.
Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Swaney of Spartanburg, Jean Dailey of Duncan and Sybil Waddell (Doug) of Woodruff; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Belcher's caregiver Angie Roddy for all the love and care she provided.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Green Pond Memorial Cemetery by Rev. Dick Williams and Rev. Gene Pace.
Visitation will be held immediately following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Green Pond Baptist Church, 300 Chicken Foot Creek Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
The family is at their respective homes.
