MOORE- Frances Yarborough Laurence, 73, of 116 Quail Drive passed away Friday, June 16, 2023, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.

  She was born September 19, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late James and Sarah Moore Yarborough and was the widow of Ronald D. Laurence. She was a retired nurse with Liberty Mutual Insurance.  She was first married to the late William “Bill” Ellis.

  Surviving are two sons, William “Ed” Ellis of London, United Kingdom, and James Ellis of Columbia.

  A Service to Celebrate her life will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by her son, William “Ed" Ellis.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
