WOODRUFF- Gerald Kenneth Miller, 74, of 2236 Harris Bridge Road, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, at his home.

Born September 9, 1949, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Miller and Rose Mary Wright Miller. He was a retired textile worker and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam.

Surviving is his daughter, Mary Miller Parks (Melvin Parks) of Woodruff; son, Wayne Miller (Angie Gossett) of Boiling Springs; sister, Shirley Camp of Spartanburg; 5 grandchildren, CJ Stites, Austin Parks, Andrew Parks (predeceased by Brandon Stites), Gavin Miller; 1-great-grandson, Teegan Stites.  He was predeceased by a brother, Steve Miller.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Rev. Carrol Caldwell officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Bramlett United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers, Melvin Parks, Austin Parks, Andrew Parks, CJ Stites, Chad Collins and Gavin Miller.
