WOODRUFF- Harold “Pee Wee” Evins Richards,84, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

  He was born November 28, 1940, in Laurens County to the late Charles and Inez Lyda Richards and was the widower of Sarah Anne Gossett Richards who passed away October 23, 2020.  He attended the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and was a retired employee with Michelin.

  Surviving is one daughter, Kim Hughes (Steve) of Roebuck; one son, Tim Richards (Sonya) of Greer; one sister, Robbie Nell Hudson of Fountain Inn; one brother, Bobby Joe Richards of Fountain Inn; 3 grandchildren, Emma Jauch (Mike), Colt Hughes (Jordan) and Trevor Richards (Elizabeth); 3 great-grandchildren, Parker Jauch, Molly Anne Jauch and Georgia Kate Hughes.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 12, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andrew Shull.  Interment will follow at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers, Colt Hughes, Trevor Richards, Mike Jauch, Steve Powell, Ricky West, Mico Ceasar and Ken Cowart.

  Honorary Escort will be his golfing buddies.
