Herbert Maltba Jr.

WOODRUFF- Herbert Maltba Jr., formerly of Adams, N.Y. and currently living In Woodruff, S.C., passed away at the age of 89, on Friday, July 22, 2022, at Spartanburg Hospice Home, Spartanburg, S.C. with his son Dennis at his side.

He was married to Catherine Molnar for 60 years, she passed away October 03, 2015.

Before moving to South Carolina, he worked at New York Air Brake and Barnes Corner Hotel as a cook for many years.  He retired from Spartanburg Steel, Spartanburg, S.C.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Collins (Robert) of Woodruff, S.C.  His four sons, Herb of Poplar Branch, N.C., Dennis (Robin) of Simpsonville, S.C., David of Moore, S.C. and Mark of Woodruff, S.C.  Twelve grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his wife Catherine, daughter, Dianna, grandson, Dustin, daughter in-law, Allison Maltba and his three brothers.
