James B. Gossett

James Belton Gossett, 86, of 3463 Farrs Bridge Road, Easley, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at his home.

He was born May 15, 1935, in Woodruff to the late Jim and Norma White Gossett and was the widower of Margaret Virginia Ellason Gossett. He was a retired Fire Chief for Paco County, Florida.

Surviving is two daughters, Peggy Terry of Easley and Margaret Swofford of Easley; one son, Bill Gossett of Easley; one brother; Johnny Gossett of Pawley’s Island; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff officiated by Mr. Bill Gossett and Mr. Donnie McAlister.
