James Harold “Jamie” Smith

WOODRUFF- James Harold “Jamie” Smith, 75, formerly of 101 Hunter Road went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

He was born February 10, 1945 in Spartanburg County to the late Robert Paul and Myrtle Williams Smith. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sisters, Kathryn Finley of Woodruff, Evelyn Garrett of Woodruff and Carolyn Sherbert of Woodruff; three brothers, Bob Smith of Spartanburg, Charles Smith of Boiling Springs and Don Smith of Greenville. He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Holden.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Dennis Garner and Rev. Jerry Sherbert. A private interment will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children-Greenville, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.

The family is at their respective homes.

Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced during the visitation and funeral service.
