James Barry Jennings, 63, passed away Friday, December 8, 2023, at Mountain View Nursing Home.

Born March 31, 1960, in Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Mary Gentry Jennings and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his aunts, Pat Gentry Gideon Atchley of Pauline, and Betty Gentry of Enoree.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Jimmy Jennings.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Rev. Jackie Bridwell officiating. Burial will follow in Hanna Cemetery in Enoree.

Family members are at their respective homes.
