James C. Smith
WOODRUFF- On Friday, January 1, 2021 James Clifton Smith, 73, of Woodruff, was reunited in Heaven with his beautiful wife Cheryl.
James was born January 4, 1947 to the late Minor Clifton and Rachel Taylor Smith and was raised in Enoree. He was a graduate of Woodruff High School where he was extremely proud to be a part of the 1965 State Championship Wolverine football team and remained a loyal supporter of Wolverine Athletics throughout his life. A devoted father and grandfather, he never missed a single event or activity for his children or his grandboys.
He is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Mark) Smith of Woodruff; son, Tommy (Stormy) Smith of Gray Court; two brothers, David (Carol) Smith of Woodruff and Danny (Terri) Smith of Cross Anchor; two grandsons, Webster Smith and Scout Smith.
