MOORE- Janet Marie Grimes Trench, 77, of 160 Middleton Park Lane passed away unexpectedly Monday, June 7, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 28, 1944 to the late Herschel and Margaret Helen White Grimes in Sullivan, Indiana. She attended Indiana Business College and was a retired executive assistant for the Vigo County Commissioners Office and Terre Haute South Vigo High School as well as a privately employed court reporter.

Janet loved her family and celebrated all of her children and grandchildren’s successes above her own. She adored her husband Norm and would light up a room with her sweet disposition, contagious jovial spirit, and love of life. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, socializing with friends, and she never met a stranger.

Surviving are her loving husband, Norman George Trench of the home; three sons, Shane (Heather) Patton of St. Louis, Missouri, Michael Trench (Jenny) of Woodruff and Jeffrey (Amy) Trench of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Tracey Trench (Laura) of Los Angeles, California, Angela (Kevin) Woltjen of Dallas, Texas and Christina (Karl) Boettcher of Dallas, Texas. In addition, 12 grandchildren: Kiernan, Anna, Blake, Bryce, Calvin, Casey, Chela, Julia, Lucas, Nikki, Sofia, Steven.

An open memorial service will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, S.C.
