WOODRUFF- Janet Amelia Waddell Vaughn,80, of 411 West Peachtree Street, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 26, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home.

  She was born October 26, 1945, in Spartanburg County to the late O.B. Waddell and Margaret Crowe Waddell.  She was a retired employee with BMG in Duncan.

  Surviving is her husband, Clarence Randall Vaughn of the home; one daughter, Jackie (Brian) Mullins of Spartanburg; one son, Chad Vaughn of Taylors; three sisters, Shirley Morris of Spartanburg, Debra Owens of Woodruff and Teresa Sherbert of Hobbysville; one brother, Marty Waddell of Greer; three grandchildren, Summer Bailey, Pressley Socorro and Cheyenne Socorro; two great-grandchildren, Luke Bailey and Parker Socorro.

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Pete Bove.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

  Serving as pallbearers, Chad Vaughn, J.D. Bailey, Chase Parker, Bobby Godfrey, Michael Godfrey and Kevin O’Shields.

  The family is at the home of her daughter, Jackie Mullins, 173 Gowans Road, Spartanburg.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
