Jean L. Harrill

  Jean LeRoy Harrill,72, of 180 Shoal Court, Lexington, S.C., went home to be with the Lord, Friday, November 7, 2025.

  She was born December 23, 1952, in Woodruff, S.C.  Jean was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen Robertson LeRoy and was the widow of Dr. J. Lynn Harrill who passed away July 22, 2024.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff.  Jean was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Columbia.  She dedicated her life to a career in healthcare as a Registered Nurse.  She began her career at Spartanburg General Hospital and served her community through various roles, including hospital care, home health services, and at Gastroenterology Associates in Spartanburg, S.C.  Throughout her career, Jean was known for being compassionate and kind as she cared for her patients.  Her family was a central part of her life, and she valued the time spent with her children and grandchildren.

  Jean is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth Hinton (Jason) of Columbia, S.C., and Kristen Gillaspy (William) of Columbia, S.C.  She is also survived by her sister, Dianne Sutton of Woodruff, S.C., and her five grandchildren, Riley, Graham, Olivia, Emma Kate and Alice.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Woodruff officiated by Rev. Andrew Shull.  A private interment will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
