WOODRUFF- Jerry Dean Dowis,63, of 1596 Old Switzer Road passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at his home.
He was born June 27, 1962, in Warrensburg, Missouri to William Jerry Dowis of Lyman and the late Margaret Jane Gates Dowis. He was a member of Switzer First Baptist Church and was formerly employed with Bondtex Incorporated.
Surviving is his wife, Darlene Hollingsworth Dowis of the home; two sons, John Mitchell Dowis of Spartanburg and Jesse Alexander Dowis of Woodruff; one sister, Lynn Crowe (Kevin) of Duncan.
A family gathering will take place at a later date.
