Jerry C. Lanford

  Jerry Calvin Lanford,87, of 651 Amesbury Lane, Spartanburg went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Regional Hospice Home.

  He was born July 27, 1936, in Woodruff to the late Boyce Calvin Lanford and Grace Martin Lanford.  He was a member of Roebuck Baptist church and was a retired lieutenant with Spartanburg City Police for 30 years.

  Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Macolly of Spartanburg and Betsy Lanford of Spartanburg; two sons, Dr. Terry Lanford (Katrina) of Spartanburg and Dale Lanford of Spartanburg; 3 grandchildren, Tyler Macolly (Rebecca), Andy Lanford (Brittany) and Kalie Barone (Steve); 5 great-grandchildren.

  Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Westwood Memorial Gardens, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore by Dr. Tim Williams.

  Visitation will immediately follow the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Roebuck Baptist Church, 1979 E. Blackstock Road, Roebuck, S.C. 29376 or Gibbs Cancer Center, 380 Serpentine Drive, Spartanburg, S.C. 29303.
