CROSS ANCHOR- Jewel Elizabeth Gideon Taylor, 79, 0f 1171 Union Hwy. went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Upstate Community Hospice House, Landrum.

She was born May 19, 1941 to the late John Mack and Lula Elizabeth Harris Gideon and was the widow of Phillip M. Taylor. She was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church and was retired from National Starch and Chemical.

Surviving are one son, David Wayne Morrow (Peggy) of Cross Anchor; two grandsons, Wayne Morrow (Christine) and Chris Morrow (Grace); four great-grandchildren, Austin Morrow, Nathan Morrow, Dave Morrow and Olivia Morrow.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, January 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Cross Anchor by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 1810 Hwy. 14 East, Landrum, S.C. 29356.
