James Andrew “Jimmy” Durham Jr.

UNION- James Andrew “Jimmy” Durham Jr., 58, gained his wings on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his home.

  He was born May 1, 1962 in Woodruff to Annette Earnhardt Durham of Woodruff and the late James Andrew Durham Sr.  He was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and a graduate of Woodruff High School.  Jimmy loved to fish, to play the guitar and he loved his family.

  Surviving are one daughter, Brittany Danielle Durham; one son, Heyward James Durham and his wife, Ashlei; two sisters, Sissy Pearson and Tina Godfrey and her husband, Chris; one brother, Jerry Durham and his wife, Jennifer; 2 granddaughters, Emma and Lillei; one grandson, Heyward Jr.  He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel in Woodruff by Rev. Jonathan Knight, Rev. Jerry Barrineau, Rev. William Walters and Mr. Anthony Weston.  A cremation will follow the service.

  Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at the home of his sister, Tina Godfrey, 101 Woodbridge Way, Simpsonville.

  Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks be worn and social distancing practiced during the visitation and funeral service.
