JoAnn G. Taylor

   Woodruff- JoAnn Grubbs Taylor, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.

  She was born May 4, 1936, in Spartanburg County, to the late Henry Grubbs and Brittle Lee Williams Grubbs. She was retired from Reeves Bros. Mills Mill Plant and was a member of West End Baptist Church.

  JoAnn was predeceased by her first love, Earl R. Taylor.  She was also predeceased by her second husband, William H. Ford (Jody); surviving is her daughter, Renee Watson (Dennie) of Woodruff and she was predeceased by two sons, Roger Earl Taylor and Joey Mark Taylor; grandchildren, Nikki (Joe) Vaughn, Travis (Chasity) Watson; great-grandchildren, Brody Vaughn, Drew Vaughn, Will Vaughn, Colin Watson and Coleman Watson; two stepdaughters, Terry (Rob) Rogers and Kim (Jimmy) Rhodes.  She was also predeceased by a sister and best friend, Jean Grubbs Dickard and a brother, Carol T. Grubbs.

  A private graveside service will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, 1031 W Georgia Rd, Woodruff, SC 29388.
