Joann Caldwell

  Joann Barnett Caldwell,85, of 161 Hidden Hill Road went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 17, 2025, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born June 21, 1939, in Spruce Pine, North Carolina to the late Phillip Barnett Sr. and Helen King Barnett Morris and was the widow of Robert Caldwell.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

  Surviving is one son, Thomas Turner Jr. of Cowpens; three daughters, Tori Turner of Spartanburg, Angela Hensley of Chesnee and Vickie Crowe of Spartanburg; one brother, Phillip Barnett Jr. of Spartanburg; 5 grandchildren, Thomas Turner III, Mark Fleming, Jessica Helms, Vance Hensley and Jonathan Hensley; 4 great-grandchildren, Miley Turner, Kylie Turner, Milez Turner and Madeline Fleming.

  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff officiated by Mr. Duane Easler.
