Joeann R. Holmes
ENOREE- Joeann Rhodes Holmes, 61, of 216 White Dogwood Lane passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at her home.
She was born November 1, 1961, in Spartanburg County to the late Clarence and Grace O’Shields Rhodes. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and was currently employed with District 5 Schools, River Ridge Elementary School as lunch monitor and assisted in the after-school program.
Surviving is one daughter, Rebecca Holmes of the home; one son, Chris Tindal of the home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church by Rev. Danny Garrett, Rev. Heyward Calvert, and Rev. Steve Ramey. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers, Jimmy Sullivan, Darryl Williams, David Kennedy, Bobby Bailey, Bobby Edwards and Brian Bailey.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
The family requests that all in attendance wear bright colors for Joeann because she loved them, as well as tie-dye and sunflowers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen/ Woodruff Clothes Closet, P.O. Box 352, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
