Johnathan Cooper Angelini
WOODRUFF- Johnathan Cooper Angelini, age 9, of 131 Stoneledge Drive went home to be with Jesus, on Monday, January 9th, 2023, at Med Star Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Johnathan was born March 7, 2013, in Greenville County. He was a 4th Grade Honor Student at Reidville Elementary School where he was a member of the News Show and the Pokémon Club. Johnathan loved sports, especially soccer and he always had the brightest smile.
Johnathan is survived by his father, Anthony Angelini of Atlanta, Georgia, his mother, Ashley McAbee (Jeremy Cardin) of Woodruff; two brothers, Nathan Price and Landon Cardin of the home; sister, Makinley Cardin arriving soon; maternal grandmother, Crystal Deaton of Woodruff; paternal grandmother, Joan Angelini of Atlanta; paternal grandfather, John Angelini of Atlanta; maternal great-grandmother, “Nannie” of Woodruff; paternal great-grandmother, “Mema” of Columbia; maternal aunt, Taylor Deaton Woodruff and her children, Jr, Jamaya, Takira, and Chance; maternal uncle, Josh Goodwin of Woodruff; paternal aunt, Kelly (Nate) Milton and their children, Beckett and Parker; paternal aunt, Julie Angelini of Atlanta. Johnathan is also survived by numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Ronald McAbee.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God, 6385 SC-101, Woodruff, S.C. by Rev. Jonathan Knight. At the request of the family casual dress and any sports or team attire may be worn. A cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
