Joseph Ray “Corky” Godfrey

WOODRUFF- Joseph Ray “Corky” Godfrey, 49, of 277 West Hayne Street passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at his residence.

He was born November 20, 1973, in Spartanburg County to Kathy Waddell Godfrey of the home and the late Charles Edward Godfrey.

Surviving are his husband, Larry Philson Godfrey of the home; one son, Terrence Lancaster of Woodruff; two brothers, Larry Stephone Morgan of Chesnee and Charles Jackson Godfrey of Spartanburg.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Reverend Joey Johnson. Interment will follow at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers Jonathan Craig, Adam Morgan, Matthew Rowan, Alexander Jackson, Jackie Ray and Jay Jackson.

The family is at the residence, 277 West Hayne Street, Woodruff.
