Joe Rhyner
WOODRUFF- Joseph “Joe” Malcolm Rhyner,89, of 120 Frazier Street passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Pelham Medical Center.
He was born September 9, 1935, in Lancaster, S.C. to the late Charles and Daisey Jane Wright Rhyner and was the widower of Helen Bateman Rhyner. He was a member of Reidville Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver. Mr. Rhyner served in the Korean Conflict and was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.
Surviving is one nephew, Richard Rhyner of Woodruff.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Westwood Memorial Park, 6101 Reidville Road, Moore.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association,44 Knoll Drive, Suite J-3, Greenville, S.C. 29609 or the Diabetes Association, SC Chapter, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Virginia, 22116-7023.
The family is at their respective homes.
