GRAY COURT- Joyce Marie Cheek Sprouse, 68, of 3996 Bramlett Church Road passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Greenville County, July 7, 1952 to the late James Beaman and Lillian Josephine Shuler Cheek. She was a member of Fountain Inn First Baptist Church and a retired Medical Receptionist with Dr. Mukesh Gandhi in Woodruff.

Surviving are one son, Lance Sprouse of the home; her life partner, Robert “Rusty” Jones of the home; one sister, Verna Jo Carter of Gray Court; two brothers; Richard Dale Cheek (Victoria) of Gray Court and William Ray Cheek (Linda) of Laurens; 1 grandson whom she adored, Leelan Jones; 4 nieces, Heather Cheek, Amanda Cheek, Cathy Jo Carter and Pat Lyda (George); 5 nephews, Alan Dale Cheek, James Cheek (Sheila), Rusty Jones, Eric Billings and Richard Carter; 3 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews.

A service to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary in Woodruff by the Rev. Ben Rumph.
