Judy Ann Jordan

WOODRUFF- Judy Ann Jordan, 70, of 316 Round Street went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Regional Hospice Home.

  She was born January 13, 1954, in Woodruff to the late Sammy Lee “Sambo” Jordan and Betty Jean Burnette Jordan.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed walking, shopping and fishing.

  Surviving is one daughter, Teresa Leatherwood (Jamie) of Woodruff; one son, Joey Cooper (Barbara) of Woodruff; two brothers, Jessie Jordan (Judy) of Woodruff and James Jordan of Wellford; one sister, Susan Wetherington (Johnny) of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Brandon Leatherwood (Cayla), Joshua Cooper, Jordan Cooper, Dylan Leatherwood (Madison), Chelsea Cooper, Joseph Cooper, Madison Leatherwood and Tyler Stevens; great-grandchildren, Madelyn Cooper, Kennedy Cooper, Brayden Montjoy and Paisley Worthy.  She was predeceased by one sister, Patricia Jean Watson and two brothers, Sammy Lee Jordan Jr. and Danny Jordan.

  Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Roger Allison and Rev. Carrol Caldwell.  Interment will follow at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  The family is at the home of Joey and Barbara Cooper, 338 Westmoreland Road, Woodruff.
