LAURENS:  Judy Frances S. Satterfield, 76, widow of Kenneth E. Satterfield Sr. passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Laurens County Hospital.

Born in Spartanburg County on November 23, 1945, to the late Edgar and Mary M. Langston Steadings

She was of the Baptist Faith and a retired Textile employee.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Satterfield Jr. (Scott) of Laurens; two daughters, Teresa Lee (Scott) of Campobello and Kimberly Satterfield of Moore; one brother, Donald M.  Steadings (Dawn) of Spartanburg; one sister, Joyce Steadings Simmons Thomas (Harvey) of Charleston; grandchildren, Cameron Lee (Megan); Breanna McAbee (Logan) and Madison Davis (Austin) and two great grandchildren, Bragg McAbee and Bo McAbee.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased a daughter, Wanda Kay and by her brothers and sisters, Marion “Dink” Steadings, Thomas Franklin Steadings, Annie Louise Gregory and Mary Jane Alexander.

 The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary from 1:00 util 2:00 PM prior to the Graveside Service at 2:30 PM at Heritage Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
