Karen L. Simmons
WOODRUFF- Karen Beth Lindler Simmons,63, of 175 Miller Road went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 30, 2025, at her home.
She was born August 10, 1962, in Fort Riley, Kansas to the late Francis Marion Lindler Jr. and Gladys Beth Taylor Lindler. She was a 1980 graduate of Woodruff High School and a former Commercial Truck Driver. Karen’s favorite color was purple and she loved Cardinals.
Surviving is her husband, William Ray Simmons of the home; one daughter, Jacqueline Julia “Jackie” Bell (John) of Abbeville; one son, Alexander Arthur Bustard (Kari) of Pauline; two brothers, William D. Lindler of Laurens and George T. Lindler of Cross Anchor; two stepbrothers, David Mullinax of Hendersonville, N.C. and Ronald Mullinax of Hendersonville; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Shalla L. Humphries and her husband, Rober Lee Humphries and a sister-in-law, Donna K. Mullinax.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Carrol Caldwell.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
