Karen Renee McGill Watson, 55, of 113 West Forest Drive, Spartanburg went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 23, 2025, from injuries sustained in an accident.

  She was born September 2, 1970, in Woodruff to Harisell Bryson McGill and Doris Jennings McGill.  She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and was a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service.

  Surviving is her husband, Tony Watson of the home; one daughter, Jodie Mitchell (Tyler) of Lyman; one son, Anthony Watson (Natalie) of Woodruff; one sister, Sharon Kelley (Gary) of Woodruff; 5 grandchildren, Ellery Jo, Luke, Kace, Millie Kate and Emma.

  A Service to Celebrate Karen’s Life will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel, Woodruff officiated by Rev. Doug Huntsinger and Rev. Fred Quidley.

  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. prior to the service.
