Kathryn Finley

WOODRUFF- Willie Kathryn Smith Finley, 84, of 101 Hunter Road went home to be with the Lord, Monday, January 3, 2022, at Pelham Medical Center.

  She was born March 14, 1937, in Spartanburg County to the late Robert Paul and Myrtle Williams Smith.

  Kathryn was a charter member at Crestview Baptist Church and attended Bellview Baptist Church. 

She was a retired employee with Fiber Industries in Greenville.

  Surviving is her husband, Marion Finley of the home; two stepdaughters, Susan Gregory of Rutherfordton, NC and Ruth Ann Masters of Dacusville; two sisters, Evelyn Garrett and Carolyn Sherbert both of Woodruff; three brothers, Bob Smith of Spartanburg, Don Smith of Greenville and Charles Smith of Boiling Springs; three step grandchildren and one step great grandson.

  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Mary Holden and a brother, Jamie Smith.

  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 06, 2022, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel officiated by Rev. Carey Caldwell.

  Interment will follow at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC

  Pallbearers will be Alan Smith, Randy Sherbert, Carl Turner, Donnie Pierce, Shane Gregory and David Masters,

  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary.

   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bellview Baptist Church, 901 Bellview Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388
