WOODRUFF- Kaye Coleman Shaver, 82, of 1036 West Georgia Street went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 13, 2023, at Woodruff Manor.

  She was born October 23, 1940, in Greenville County to the late Ivy and Annie Belle Few Coleman.  She was a 1958 graduate of Woodruff High School and a graduate of North Greenville Jr. College.  Kaye taught piano for many years, was a former agent with Liberty Life Insurance Company and worked in business offices for several years.  She was a retired cashier with Bi-lo and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff.

  Surviving is her husband, Randy Shaver of the home; one daughter, Marianna Weathers (Scott) of Woodruff; one son, Chad Shaver (Mandy) of Moore; three grandchildren, Austin Weathers (Kaitlyn), Caleb Weathers (Katelyn), and Ivey Shaver; one great-granddaughter, Harper Scott Weathers.

  Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Steve Ramey and Rev. Steve Christopher.  Interment will follow in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Area Soup Kitchen, P.O. Box 352, Woodruff, S.C. 29388 or Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605.
