WOODRUFF- Kenneth Turner “Ken” Lanford, 75, of 525 Kelly Road died Friday, May 18, 2018 at Regional Hospice Home.

  A native of Spartanburg County, he was the son of the late Eli Jefferson “E.J” Lanford and Essie Turner Lanford Sims.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodruff and was retired with the S.C. Department of Corrections.

  Surviving are one daughter, Gwen Lanford of Moore; two sons, Gray Lanford of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Steve Lanford of Laurens; one brother, Bill Lanford of Woodruff; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

  Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Andrew Shull.  Interment will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Foundation Fighting Blindness, 7168 Columbia Gateway Drive, Suite 100, Columbia, MD., 21046.

  The family is at the residence, 525 Kelly Road, Woodruff.
