Kenneth M. Green

WOODRUFF- Kenneth Michael Green, 77, of 123 Godfrey Town Road went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  He was born March 15, 1946, in Spartanburg County to the late Harold and Margaret Burgin Green.  He attended West End Baptist Church and was a retired employee with Lyman Printing & Finishing.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the National Guard.

  Surviving is his wife, Kathy Lee Green of the home; one stepdaughter, Shannon Michelle Osment of Woodruff; stepson, Bobby Wayne Moore of Woodruff; niece, Sara Johnson of Woodruff; nephew, Daniel Johnson of Roebuck; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a sister, Linda Green Johnson and a brother, Columbus Green.

  Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Rex Keaton and Rev. Fred Quidley.  Interment will follow at the Darby Cemetery at Green Pond Baptist Church.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to West End Baptist Church, 1031 West Georgia Road, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.

  The family is at the residence.
