WOODRUFF- Kevin Lee Sams,43, of 1207 West Georgia Road passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Upstate Community Hospice House in Landrum.

  He was born October 28, 1981, in Spartanburg County to the late Olin David Sams and Brenda Kay Nelson Sams.  He was a former employee with BMW and was of the Baptist faith.

  Surviving are three daughters, Karley Marie Sams of Woodruff, Alyssa Kay Sams of Woodruff and Jayla Leigh Sams of Woodruff; two sons, Preston Lee Sams of Woodruff and Ricky McKaid Green of Gray Court; one grandson, Camden Lee Petty of Woodruff; his former wife and friend, Kristina Hardin Sams; half-brother, David Sams; half-sisters, Barbara Garcia and Sheila Crocker; stepmother, Joyce Wolfe.

  A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Fred Quidley.

  The family is at their respective homes.
