Larry Wayne Trotter, 73, husband of Kay McMahan Trotter of 575 Anderson Drive went home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 24, 2022, at his home. 

Born June 25, 1949, in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Weldon D. Trotter and Marjorie Twead Trotter. He was an auto body repair man with Trotter and Sons Body Shop, was a United States Air Force veteran and a member of Woodruff Church of God where he was a member of the Joy Club. 

Surviving in addition to his wife is his son, Timothy Michael Trotter (Karma) of Spartanburg; Kay’s daughters, Alisa Thomas of Union, Landon Sellars (Duane) of Enoree; brother, Michael Lee Trotter of Spartanburg; sister, Sandy Trotter Elliott of Burlington, NC; grandchildren, Erin Thomas, Tyler Parris, Kaydee Culbertson, Connor Culbertson, Cole Turner, and Timothy Crea Trotter. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Anthony Scott Trotter, brother, Dennis Trotter and a grandson, Michael Lane Trotter. 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Woodruff Church of God. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the church with Reverend Jonathan Knight and Mr. Danny Knight officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodruff Church of God Building Fund, P.O. Box 275 Woodruff, SC 29388.
