Karen Leanne Wood, age 62, of 1745 Kilgore Bridge Road passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Leanne was born in the Philippines on March 01, 1961, to the late Teede Wood Jr. and Gail Clevenger Wood.

She was a former Machine operator at MEMC and was a member of Woodruff Fire Department, Enoree Fire Department and Hobbysville Fire Department from 1997 to 2019. She was a member of VFW Post 9539 in Spartanburg and was a charter member for the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Woodruff Unit 33. She attended Cavins Baptist Church.

Leanne is survived by her lifetime companion, Curtis Hostetler Jr.; a daughter, Lisa Wood of Duncan; son, Mike Wood of Woodruff; stepdaughter, Brooke Hostetler Brown of Boiling Springs; brother, Jeff Wood (Dana) of Woodruff; two sisters, Pam Schubach (Kenny) and Katrina Price (Benjamin) all of Woodruff; twelve grandchildren and a great granddaughter; her aunt, Juanita Simpson of Woodruff.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She is also preceded in death by a brother, Roger Wood, a nephew, Dale Marlowe and a niece, Robin Schubach Owens.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, Woodruff.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Cavins Baptist Church on Friday, April 21, 2023, officiated by Rev. Chuck Pace with a final call rendered by Trinity Fire Department.

Interment will follow the service at Greenhaven Memorial Garden.
