FOUNTAIN INN- Elizabeth “Lib” Grubbs Patterson, 85, of 2 Rosehill Place went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Prisma Health-Greer Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Woodruff, S.C. to the late Posey Lee and Frances Morgan Grubbs and was the widow of Master Chief Frank Eugene Patterson who passed away May 5, 2016. She was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, Sharon (Randy) Cherry of Fountain Inn, Keith (Bonnie) Patterson of Gray Court, Darlene (Dennis “Smiley”) Campbell of Inman, Michael (Xinia) Patterson of Woodruff and Lori Patterson of the home; 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Grubbs who passed away May 16, 2020.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at the Woodruff Church of God by Rev. Jonathan Knight, Rev. James Patterson, Rev. Eddie Allen and Mr. Danny Knight.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Interment will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, S.C. with a committal by Mr. Danny Knight.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Woodruff Church of God Finish Challenge, P.O. Box 275, Woodruff, S.C. 29388.
The family is at their respective homes.
