WOODRUFF- Linda Moore Frey,76, of 11805 Highway 221 went home to be with the Lord, Monday, August 25, 2025, at Regional Hospice Home.

  She was born February 11, 1949, in Spartanburg County to the late Basco Moore and Dorothy “Dot” Sherbert Moore and was the widow of Dan Bernard Frey.  She was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church and a retired employee with Torrington in Clinton.

  Surviving is one daughter, Kem Crocker (Gregg) of Spartanburg; one son, Richard Frey of the home; two sisters, Peggy Thomas of Spartanburg and Joyce Craig (Max) of Woodruff; two brothers, Gary Moore (Lynn) of Moore and Philip Moore (Tracy) of Enoree; grandchildren, Kristyn Jones (Cameron),Glenn Rushton, Dylan Frey, Gabe Goodwin and Sky Fisher; great-grandchildren, her bestie Kaylor Jones and CJ Jones.  She is also survived by her best friend, Linda Hughes and family friend, Christy Dixon.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. Tim Huckaby.  Interment will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers, Cameron Jones, Gregg Crocker, Tad Craig, Jamie Moore, Austin Thomas, Jeremy Thomas and Chad Wells.

  The family is at their respective homes.
