WOODRUFF- Linda Green Johnson, 72, went home to be with her Lord at 7:13 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.

  She was born July 29, 1949 in Spartanburg County to the late Harold and Margaret Burgin Green.  She was a member of the Woodruff Church of God and was a wonderful homemaker to her family.  She loved Jesus, all her family and her dogs.  She loved everyone she met with the love of Jesus and never met a stranger that she didn’t show the love of God to.

  Surviving are her husband of 46 years, John “Mike” Johnson of the home; one daughter, Sarah Johnson (Kenny) of Woodruff; one son, Daniel Johnson (Jennifer) of Roebuck; four grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, James and Kayleigh; two great-grandchildren, Ally and Luke; one brother, Kenneth Green (Kathy) of Woodruff.  She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Obera Johnson, her brother, Columbus Green and her granddaughter, Hannah Johnson.

  Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Rev. James Shealy and Rev. Curtis Terry.  Interment will follow at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens with a committal by Rev. James Shealy.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. prior to the service.

  Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Cooper, Jeff Morgan, Josh Rhodes, Austin Rhodes, Thomas Peebles, Robert Laster, Travis Waddell and Garren Burdette.

  The family is at the residence, 210 Freeman Court, Woodruff.
